About Me

Dennis Rothgaber is the voice and piano teacher here at Mojo’s Music LLC, as well as being one of the owners.

Dennis holds a 2 year Certificate in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music in vocal and piano performance and was on the dean's list every semester. Dennis graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts/Lowell in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music/Vocal Performance and at that time received the Chancellor’s Medal for Distinguished Academic Achievement.

Dennis has been performing for weddings, parties, corporate functions, funerals and memorial services over his long career as a tenor soloist and pianist, as well as in various bands as lead singer keyboardist, bassist and guitarist. His keyboard and vocal work were featured on the MTV Basement Tape video competition entitled “You Live Too Far” by Boy Next Door, which was rewarded 2nd place.

Dennis has been teaching privately for over 40 years. Publicly he taught music general music in the Haverhill School System grades K-5. He was the Haverhill High School Chorus accompanist his last year there. Dennis was the music director and accompanist for the Saint Monica's School Drama Club in Methuen, MA for 3 years. Besides teaching piano and voice, Dennis has taught bass, guitar, music theory (contemporary as well as traditional), and ear training. His lessons are always fun and productive.
